Tuesday, June 9 Australia ex-Prime Minister visit

 On Tuesday, June 9, Governor Kabashima received courtesy visit of Prime Minister of Robert James Lee hawk former Australia.
 Hawk ex-Prime Minister establishes "Bob hawk scholarship foundation" and supports short-term studying abroad of junior high student of Yamaga-shi in Australia. Young plant of "jacaranda" called "cherry tree of Australia" was presented to Yamaga-shi and did the next bear to attend at the tree-planting ceremony this time and was able to come to greetings to Governor Kabashima last year.
 The governor conveyed will of thanks for hawk ex-Prime Minister made an effort for for Australia and interchange with Kumamoto and spoke expectation to further interchange development. As for the hawk ex-Prime Minister, it was told that we wanted to visit Kumamoto again 3-4 years later to watch growth of tree of jacaranda which planted a tree this time in Yamaga-shi.
 In addition, as for the hawk ex-Prime Minister, it was given a significant exchange of opinions with the governor over Japan and politics, economy of Australia and many aspects including foreign policy.
