Instructions of general manager (the governor)

Of one cardiopulmonary arrest of today, Yatsushiro-shi the death was confirmed, and victim became 62 people. We wish to express our deepest sympathy to the bereaved some other time and tell all people met for damage about visit.

We report two points to citizens of the prefecture today.

At first, the first point is "rescue in 2,998 people".

After evil of July 4, it moved into action to having top priority by lifesaving in the prefecture. We were able to rescue 2,998 until the Self-Defense Forces and firefighting, the police, the present including a total of 120,000 people which we conveyed from people which we rescued in copter and boat in flood by devoted work and lone communities to safe refuge including the Coast Guard.

We thank all people concerned with lifesaving and will still make every possible effort for search of missing various places sequentially.

The second point is "start for construction of temporary housing in Sagara-mura".

Yesterday, we started construction of temporary housing in Hitoyoshi-shi and Yamae-mura. On 13rd, we will begin 16 construction in Sagara-mura tomorrow.

We will push forward discussion with related organizations with sense of speed in future and push forward approach in various places suffered from as soon as possible to provide place of life.
