Notice matter to person traveling to foreign countries

 Malignant epidemic of domestic animals such as craze for pork and foot-and-mouth disease, highly pathogenic avian influenza in Africa occurs abroad including the Asia region.

 In late years, with rapid increase of visit to Japan foreigner tourist, virus with infectiousness of African pig heat and highly pathogenic avian influenza is separated by processed meat brought in as accouterment illegally from foreign countries, and invasion risk of malignant epidemic of domestic animal to our country has been increasing very much. When malignant epidemic of domestic animal invades Japan, we have a great influence on not only the stock-raising industry but also local social economic activities.

 From this, correspondence for illegal carry-on of processed meat from foreign countries is tightened from April 22, 2019.
